CONGRATULATIONS!

Quick recap of the past 2 weeks spent at Basecamp:

  • You were introduced to 12 personal and professional wellness concepts. These were selected from the larger Cardalyst system.

  • You were provided opportunities to learn more about these concepts and practice them.

  • You have the beginning of a solid resource library that you can dig deeper into these concepts and learn even more.

  • Two themes prevailed;

    • Week 1: Personal Growth (Surviving)

    • Week 2: Purposeful Impact (Thriving)

  • Did you know there was a bonus concept hidden in this experience?

CONSISTENCY

Many people think consistency means doing the same thing every day.

However, a better definition is:

Consistency is repeatedly doing what serves your purpose, even when the exact actions must adapt.

For example:

  • A consistent fitness routine may include different workouts.

  • A consistent leader may use different approaches with different people.

  • A consistent learner may read, practice, or take courses.

This is why every day, a new Cardalyst wellness concept was presented to challenge you. These past 2 weeks were designed to train you to act and establish a rhythm that opposes procrastination, loss of direction and anxiety.

Remember: The methods, content and circumstances may change. Your commitment to your goals cannot. Stay consistent.

Consistency will take you further than talent alone can. It will make you more resilient and stronger so change and challenge does not phase you. It sets you on the path to mastery, accomplishment and success in all aspects of your life.

What now?

You have lots of options;

  • Try reading some of the recommended books.

  • Do Basecamp again, but do it in a different order.

  • Level up and move to the Foundations Trek Deck. This expands on everything you have learned and practiced so far.

  • Do you own exploration into personal and professional wellness concepts.

  • Teach someone else how to use this resource and do the daily challenges with them.

Cardalyst is a work in progress and evolving quickly. There are digital versions of the next card sets and different support resources and ways to use this resource. Stay tuned, there is more coming soon.

Thank you for taking this journey with me. I have certainly learned a lot and benefitted immensely in building this. I hope it was a meaningful experience for you as well.

Keep Going!
