What is Cardalyst ?

Cardalyst

Cardalyst is what's called a portmanteau word. It is formed by blending parts of two (or more)

words to create a new word with a combined meaning.

1. Catalyst

Cardalyst began as a workplace wellness system. Over the years, I developed numerous physical and virtual wellness competitions designed to promote fitness, reduce stress, and foster team building in professional environments. When the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted traditional workspaces, I retooled my research and experience into a more holistic wellness model—one that could engage people online in diverse wellness activities and foster a sense of connection, even while working remotely.

The positive feedback I received—and the personal growth I experienced—became the blueprint for Cardalyst.

As my career has evolved into areas like change management, innovation, and leadership development, I integrated those concepts into this system. The result is a comprehensive and highly adaptive resource—a medium that brings together wellness, leadership, and personal development into one unified experience.

2. Card

I chose to deliver Cardalyst in a card format—both digitally and physically—rather than as a traditional book.

Why?

Research shows that many people struggle to finish self-help books.
More importantly, reading about change isn’t the same as doing it.

Cards limit the narrative and encourage action. They’re designed to be interactive, engaging, and practical—prompting users to reflect, act, and grow.
