LEVEL I: BASECAMP
Updated: 3 days ago

This is your first step in a life-changing journey.
The best way to learn about wellness and leadership concepts that can build hope, happiness, resilience and success is by practicing them. This journey is a small daily investment of a few minutes of your time that will pay huge dividends towards your future goals. This is an impactful 2 week journey that is 100% free.
What is this?
If you have not read the previous Welcome post, I encourage you to do so as it is a great starting point to provide some background of what the CardalystTM system is and Basecamp'sTM role within it.
BASECAMPTM
This is the starting point. This is a FREE, no obligation, 14-day overview of some the wellness concepts you will encounter in the full CardalystTM system.
As was presented in the previous post, BasecampTM is what's called a keystone artifact since it provides many important functions to the overall system.
It is a call to action to quickly get you started on this journey. Grab the first card and jump right in. Yes, it is really that easy.
It is an orientation tool to get you back on track if you ever get behind or something causes you to temporarily pause your progress.
It is a counselling/coaching tool to help others move through a difficult or confusing time in their life. Low risk/high reward and is a very manageable activity to engage in. It works best if you do it with the person/people that you are supporting.
It is the blueprint that built CardalystTM. It demonstrates that the integration of all of the content provided in this system follows two core themes that any good support system or rersource should contain; 1. Knowledge and 2. Application.
Knowledge without application creates insight but little change. Application without knowledge creates activity but little direction. BasecampTM , and the entire CardalystTM system integrates knowledge and action into every card and challenge that you complete, Simply put; Learn. Practice. Grow.
Once you finish BasecampTM , there are many more exciting adventures and areas for personal and professional growth and development waiting for you.
Why should I try this?
You have literally nothing to lose but everything to gain.
The only way to answer the question is to experience it.
Let's go to the next post and get an overview of the week ahead.
Deep Dive

"The War of Art" by Steven Pressfield is the wake up call that all of us self-doubters and procrastinators need.
A powerful book about overcoming resistance and starting before you feel ready. The core message: Action comes before motivation, not after. This is an ideal book if you who know what you should do but struggle to begin.
