ACTION.
What is it?
Up to this point in our journey, you have been introduced to many wellness principles and have taken the time to put them into practice. The action component is important to create lasting change because so many of us know what we should do to improve our lives in specific ways but fail to follow through.
Psychologists call this the intention-behavior gap: people genuinely intend to do something beneficial, but their actions do not consistently follow their intentions. Research across health, fitness, productivity, and personal development has repeatedly found that intentions predict behavior only moderately well. People may want to exercise, eat healthier, save money, or speak up more often, yet fail to do so consistently because other factors. This week is about making conscious efforts to do things that bridge that gap to form long-lasting postive habits that combat procrastination.

Adaptability. This is connected to vocational wellness.
Longevity and success in the workplace is directly correlated to your ability to adapt.
Continue to stretch outside your comfort zone.
Creativity. This is connected to intellectual wellness.
Creativity is one of the most important skills in today's challenging workforce and into the future.
Courage. This is connected to emotional wellness.
Fear is natural and vital to survival. Do not work to eliminate it.
Manage and leverage it to your advantage (courage)
Start understanding and addressing things that you fear.
Faith. This is connected to spiritual wellness.
Explore the concept of faith. What do you believe in and why?
There are ways to build wellness by spending time in this area that other wellness concepts cannot fill.
You can develop faith in yourself as well.
Kindness. This is connected to social wellness.
Kindness is a superpower. If you are having a bad day, one of the best ways to improve it is to do something kind for someone else.
Kindness builds strong relationships and support networks.
Health Check. This is connected to physical wellness.
This is a good time to assess your current state of physical and mental health.
Schedule a check up with a mental health professional. It will help establish a baseline for you to measure progress as well as notice anything that may require professional consultation and advice.
Rest/Reflection Day. Take a break or complete one of the challenges you may have missed this week
