Day 10 - Purpose

Today's challenge;
Engage in an activity that brings you joy.
What is it?
Purpose consists of the central motivating aims of your life—the reasons you get up in the morning. Purpose can guide life decisions, influence behavior, shape goals, offer a sense of direction and create meaning.
Why is it important?
Studies have shown that having a purpose leads to a longer healthier, wealthier life. This is because purpose allows you to;
Establish clear goals for yourself. If you know what you want, you can make plans and take the proper steps to get there.
Separate the important from the unimportant. If you understand your purpose, you will also better understand what things in your life are important to fulfilling your purpose. Your time and energy will become focused on the things that matter and you will be less distracted by unimportant things.
Feed your passion and drive for the things that make you happy.
Develop a natural enemy of regret. Life is short and living with purpose maximizes the ability to live the life you want with the time you have.
How can you discover your purpose?
Surround yourself with positive people. By being around people who have a purpose and impact your life positively will encourage you to do the same and you may draw inspiration from their examples.
Meet new people. New perspectives and points of view can open your eyes to things you may want to advocate for, improve or change.
Donate your time, money, or talent. Helping someone to be in a better place than when you first met them immediately gives your life purpose.
Find something you love to do. If you can spend your life doing what you love doing, you have found your purpose.
