Today's challenge:

Complete 1 hour of physical exercise today.

What is this?

Physical fitness is a state of health and well-being and, more specifically, the ability to perform aspects of sports, occupations, and daily activities.

Why is it important?

Regular exercise and physical activity promote strong muscles and bones. It improves respiratory, cardiovascular health, and overall health. Staying active can also help you maintain a healthy weight, reduce your risk for type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and reduce your risk for some cancers.

How can you improve this skill?

  • Find an activity that you like. If you don’t like working out in a gym, find something that keeps you active and gives you a workout at the same time. Sports offer many great options to get in shape, learn new skills and interact with others.

  • Be social. Find activities that involve others. This also helps improve your social wellness.

  • Listen to your body. If you are tired or injured, try not to skip a workout if you can. Just do an extremely easy one or something that doesn’t aggravate your injury.

  • Do yoga. It will help with your physical, spiritual, emotional, and social wellness. It’s the ultimate stretch goal.
