Today's challenge;
Find a way to do something helpful for someone.
What is this?
Helping others creates a feedback loop of positivity — both parties feel seen, valued, and uplifted. It’s a cornerstone of wellness, leadership, and human flourishing.
Why is it important?
Benefits for Others
Emotional Support. Reduces feelings of isolation, stress, and hopelessness. Builds resilience and hope.
Practical Empowerment. Helps others overcome challenges, learn new skills, or access resources. Encourages independence and growth.
Creates Ripple Effects. One act of kindness can inspire others to pay it forward. Builds stronger, more compassionate communities. Helping connects you to others, creating stronger communities and building a happier society for everyone. And it's not all about money - you can also give your time, ideas and energy.
Benefits for Yourself
Boosts Mental Health. Helping others releases dopamine, oxytocin, and serotonin - the “helper’s high.” Reduces stress, anxiety, and even symptoms of depression.
Strengthens Purpose & Identity. Reinforces your values and gives life deeper meaning. Builds confidence and a sense of contribution — especially powerful in leadership and wellness roles.
Improves Relationships. Builds trust, empathy, and stronger social bonds.
Encourages reciprocity and mutual support.
Enhances Skills. Develops communication, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving. Great for personal growth and leadership development.
Increases Longevity. Studies show that people who regularly help others tend to live longer and report higher life satisfaction.
Here's an idea; introduce others to Cardalyst. Complete the Foundations Expedition with them. It may generate dialogue to bring you closer together and help them to address challenges in their lives.
Deep Dive

This is a groundbreaking book that explores how different interaction styles—giving, taking, and matching—impact success, relationships, and organizational culture. The main idea is that success is not just about talent or hard work, but also about how we interact with others.
